Terms of Service

Last updated: [PLACEHOLDER — date of legal review]

Draft — pending legal review. This page was drafted as a complete, structurally-standard policy document, but fields marked [PLACEHOLDER] below are not yet filled in with real, company-specific facts (legal entity name, registered address, governing-law jurisdiction, data protection officer contact, exact retention periods). Do not treat this page as legally binding, and do not publish it as final, until a qualified lawyer has reviewed it and every placeholder has been replaced with an accurate, verified value.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Juricare AI (the “Service”), operated by [PLACEHOLDER — legal entity name], you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use the Service

The Service is intended for advocates, law firms, corporate legal teams, and their clients. [PLACEHOLDER — minimum age requirement, any jurisdiction restrictions, and any professional-licensing representations required in the markets this is actually offered in].

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide at registration and for keeping your password confidential. Notify us immediately at contact@juricare.aiif you suspect unauthorized access to your account. Sessions are secured with short-lived access tokens and rotating refresh tokens; logging out on a device revokes that device’s session.

4. What the Service is — and is not

Juricare AI is case, hearing, and document management software with an AI-assisted research/drafting feature. The Service, including its AI Legal Assistant, does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for a licensed attorney’s professional judgment. See the full AI Disclaimer for detail on the AI feature specifically.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the case data, documents, and messages you upload or create (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you (and, where you direct it, the other party to a case or conversation — e.g. your advocate or client). You are responsible for having the right to upload any document you submit, and for complying with any confidentiality or privilege obligations that apply to it independently of this Service.

6. Acceptable use

  • No uploading of content you don’t have the right to share.
  • No attempting to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
  • No using the Service to store or transmit malware, or content that is unlawful in the jurisdiction(s) you operate in.
  • No automated scraping or bulk extraction outside of the documented API contract.

7. Fees

[PLACEHOLDER — pricing/plan terms, billing cycle, refund policy; see the Pricing page for current published rates, if any are live].

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting contact@juricare.ai. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate section 6 (Acceptable use). [PLACEHOLDER — data export/retention window after termination].

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. [PLACEHOLDER — standard limitation-of-liability and indemnification clauses, drafted or reviewed by counsel for the actual jurisdiction(s) of operation — not something this document should state without legal review].

10. Governing law

[PLACEHOLDER — governing law and dispute-resolution jurisdiction].

11. Changes to these terms

[PLACEHOLDER — describe the actual notice process for changes: email notice, in-app banner, effective-date convention, etc.]
